The Bottom Terminal Station (BTS) lies near the bank of Tinau river, near Butwal bazaar. Butwal city is a hub place for western sector. Most of international tourists coming from surface travel visit this place. It is also the gate way to the Lumbini and Pokhara, which are the main tourist attraction places of Nepal. Traveling through Nepal: We have been traveling through Nepal on our "Nepal Road Trip" for a few days now. Today we meet up with some new friends before making the trip from Butwal to Tansen, Nepal. Let me first say that the trip from Butwal to Tansen is absolutely breath-taking. There is a hydro project 1/4 of the way to Tansen. Directly beside the hydro project is a cable bridge. We saw a few Nepali folks walk it. So, we decided to climb down to give it a try. It was definitely not built for large Americans. The cable bridge (some might call it a rope bridge) was once in a life time. However, Tansen did not disappoint. Tansen, Nepal is a quaint little village located on the side of a mountain. Opened on November 24, 1998, the Manakamana Cable Car runs between Cheres, Chitwan and Manakamana, Gorkha.The 2,772.2 m (9,095 ft) line has two stations. The cable car system was imported from Austria. n earlier times the only way to reach the Manakamana temple was by walking uphill for about three hours. Now, there is a cable car that runs from the cable station of Cheres, just 5 kilometers east of Mugling to Manakamana. Chandragiri Cable Car is a gondola lift transportation system located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Opened on 2016, the Chandragiri Cable Car runs from Thankot to Chandragiri hills. The 2.4 km (9,095 ft) line has two stations.The cable car system consists of 38 gondolas that can carry 1,000 people per hour. The Manakamana Temple situated in the Gorkha district of Nepal is the sacred place of the Hindu Goddess Bhagwati, an incarnation of Parvati.
